Cette semaine, Tales From The Crate s'intéressait à un artiste anglais passablement inclassable, un DJ, producteur et scratcheur qui n'a pas oublié que la platine vinyle est (surtout) un instrument de musique : j'ai nommé le surprenant Buddy Peace. L'exploration de son univers méritait largement qu'on s'y colle deux heures durant, d'abord avec la beat-tape "Hot Pudding" parue l'année passée, ensuite avec un boulot un peu plus ancien et un poil plus orienté mixouille, "Wolf Diesel Mountain" datant de 2007.
Tales From The Crate focused on a british artist pretty hard to classify, a DJ, a producer and a scratcheur who knows that a turntable is first a music instrument and a way to create sound landscape : Buddy Peace. Two hours weren't too much to discover his universe, first with his "Hot Pudding" beat-tape released last year, then with a older work called "Wolf Diesel Mountain" from 2007.
